HAVE MERCY....
“Si tu espíritu está deformado, simplemente es que hay que arreglarlo, depurándolo y perfeccionándolo, porque no hay tarea en la vida más digna de emprenderse. No arreglar el espíritu es buscar a la muerte, y eso es igual a no buscar nada, porque ella va a alcanzarnos de todos modos. Arreglar nuestro espíritu es lo único digno que podemos hacer, de cara a la transitoriedad de nuestra condición humana (...)” -CC (RdT109)
HAVE MERCY...
"There is a turning point in life -when we look at it, and see our lives all laid out- that we realize it for the endless crap it is. This is what makes it possible for us to walk away from it. We can then escape the social order; it is only when we have seen ourselves this way that we realize that, unless we give it up, we will be that same way 'till the day we die..."

HAVE MERCY...
LAST WORDS
by Emily Bronte
I knew not 'twas so dire a crime
To say the word, "Adieu;"
But this shall be the only time
My lips or heart shall sue.
That wild hill-side, the winter morn,
The gnarled and ancient tree,
If in your breast they waken scorn,
Shall wake the same in me.
I can forget black eyes and brows,
And lips of falsest charm,
If you forget the sacred vows
Those faithless lips could form.
If hard commands can tame your love,
Or strongest walls can hold,
I would not wish to grieve above
A thing so false and cold.
And there are bosoms bound to mine
With links both tried and strong:
And there are eyes whose lightning shine
Has warmed and blest me long:
Those eyes shall make my only day,
Shall set my spirit free,
And chase the foolish thoughts away
That mourn your memory.
